    In this series of briefings, we're calling on all countries to ensure a FAIR deal for IDPs - one that is:

    • Funded
    • Ambitious
    • Inclusive 
    • Respectful of international law

    In this briefing, we're calling for:

    • increased awareness of the plight of IDPs and advocate for their protection
    • states to integrate the UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement into their national laws and policies
    • a global initiative to strengthen protection of IDPs, and we give suggestions for how this can be developed
