Webform (Form elements)

Fieldsets
Use fieldsets to logically group form elements. You can use it to separate personal information from church/organisation information for instance. Try not to nest fieldsets, and always try to use a fieldset title (legend). If you're using description (most of the time you should use), you might want to set it's "Description display" to "before".
Radio buttons
Use radios to give the user multiple options to choose one from.

Don't use a single radio, as it is not meaningful. Use single checkbox instead.
A single checkbox, not part of a group of options.
Gift aid
I want Christian Aid to claim Gift Aid on my donations for no extra cost to me.
Hidden fields
You can use hidden fields to send a non-editable preset value through the form. This could be an approach code, or an F code for a product. As the name suggests, it won't be visible but will be submitted with the form, either saved to the database, or sent as part of an email.

This fieldset has two hidden fields, one approach code, and one f-code for a product.
£
A Number field with a currency prefix might tip the users to enter just the number.
