Reporting serious concerns to Christian Aid

We have a zero-tolerance approach to serious misconduct of any kind, including safeguarding and fraud or misuse of resources.

How to report a concern to us

If you have serious concerns relating to the conduct of Christian Aid staff, volunteers or trustees, consultants or contractors working on our behalf, or to projects we are funding with a partner then we would encourage you to raise these with us.

This address is monitored by our Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management, and our Human Resources Manager.

If you think that someone is at immediate risk of harm, please contact the relevant local authorities. If you are in the UK you can contact the police by dialling 999.


What happens next

We assess all reports received, and where appropriate we will launch investigations into suspected wrongdoing, or make reports to the relevant authorities.

Your information will be treated in confidence. You do not have to provide personal details, however such information will assist us in taking forward your concerns and enable us to provide you with a response on the outcome. If you ask us not to disclose your identity we will not do so without your consent, unless required by law.
