For 80 years, Christian Aid has been fighting poverty and injustice. With your support, we've been able to offer hope to communities who need it most.

And over these 80 years, we’ve harnessed something formidable. Something that can’t be silenced by injustice. Something that refuses to sit back and watch poverty ravage communities.

We call it the unstoppable power of hope.

While our 80th anniversary year has come to a close, the work it celebrated has not.

Thank you for being part of the story

Life and hope under occupation

In Palestine, daily life is shaped by injustice but communities refuse to give up hope.

In East Jerusalem and across the West Bank, local leaders are creating space for healing, dignity and resilience. From counselling for children to advocacy rooted in faith, their work challenges the systems that deny freedom — and keeps alive the dream of a just peace.

Led by those who live it: climate action shaped by communities

Communities in Sierra Leone are leading the response to the climate crisis.

From local farmers and organisers to national advocates and youth activists, they're driving solutions rooted in lived experience. Their stories show how lasting change begins with those most affected.

Women of the Dalit Community overcome manual scavenging practices

Manual scavenging — though banned by law since 1993 — still continues in many places, mostly carried out by women.

But what is it, and why does it persist? And how has Christian Aid helped support brave individuals and grassroots organisations to stand up, end this injustice and reclaim dignity for those denied it for far too long?
