Whatever your passion, whatever your age, why not set yourself a challenge?
Push yourself to do something new and raise some money at the same time. For most events, you don’t need a charity place to take part, you can simply register yourself. So, just choose one that interests you, enter to secure your place, then let us know. We’ll support you all the way! We can supply Christian Aid running/ cycling tops or t-shirts as well as sponsor forms, and help setting up online giving pages.
All across the region, there are running events of all distances from 1 mile upwards. Some involve mud https://toughmudder.co.uk/
or even taking your dog for a run https://www.dogjog.co.uk/
Maybe a cycle or a walk is more your thing? There are plenty of opportunities for getting on your bike https://cycleforcharity.com/
or you could try walking 25-100k in an 'Ultrachallenge' https://www.ultrachallenge.com/
However, there may also be some of you out there, who want to do something really different. Maybe skydiving, http://www.doitforcharity.com/
or walking on fire http://www.survivorbility.com/charity-fundraising/!!
There is no end to what you could do.
And if extreme sport isn’t your thing, don’t worry: you could still organise something a bit more sedate – perhaps a sponsored knit or sponsored silence!
We are sure you have lots of ideas of your own, but if you want more suggestions, or any support, please contact your local office who are always ready to help.
