Almost 100 people were present at All Hallows Church in Gedling on Saturday 6 October. They were there to enjoy a wonderful concert delivered by local choir, Blond Airways.

There was something for everyone as the choir performed a varied repitoir, from popular songs, songs from shows and classical pieces.

The concert was organised by the new Christian Aid organiser for Carlton, Catherine Crane. She said:

'It was a brilliant evening. The choir were fantastic. It was great to see so many people having a lovely time and helping to raise money for Christian Aid.'

Blond Airways are available for bookings and would be delighted to help raise more money for Christian Aid. If this is something you’d be interested in please contact Nick Thorley, Regional Coordinator for Nottinghamshire, by emailing
