What do we want? Climate justice!
There was a huge turn out in front of the town hall in Chester on Friday. Hundreds of people, young and not so young, waving placards, gathering to hear a series of stirring speeches, then marching around the centre of the Roman town.
It was an impressive sight to remind tourists and shoppers that time is running out if we are to preserve the biodiversity of our beautiful planet and save the habitats on which so many of our sisters and brothers depend.
Christian Aid was there to witness to our particular concern for the stewardship of God’s world and we must continue to do all we can to compel our politicians to listen and adopt the much greater urgency that this global crisis demands.
The time is now!
