Greenbelt arts festival, which takes place annually over the August Bank Holiday weekend, is where we have our biggest festival presence.

We use our time at Greenbelt to inspire festival-goers to challenge global poverty by putting faith into action. We offer a venue space, café and a site-wide campaign action which aims to engage 70-80% of the Greenbelt audience.

Our volunteers make a huge contribution at Greenbelt. Roles include working in the café and talking to supporters about Christian Aid. Shifts are organised on a rota system so you also get time to enjoy the festival.

Volunteers need to feel comfortable in a busy festival environment and are asked to bring their own camping equipment. Expenses, including food and the cost of the festival ticket are covered by Christian Aid.
