Betsy's experience
I was able to make provisions for my son, which felt like a real act of love. I also put a gift in my Will to Christian Aid, a charity which means a lot to me.
Your gift can be there in the darkest moments
An Israeli air strike left Ibrahim, Layal, and their three-year-old daughter, Lia, with nothing. It’s hard to imagine how this young family coped. But the fact is, they had to.
Like thousands of other Palestinians, they sought safety in El Buss refugee camp in Southern Lebanon.
In the camp, Christian Aid partner organisation, Najdeh provided Ibrahim’s family with emergency cash assistance and food kits, including rice, sugar, oil and beans: life-saving essentials when they were needed most.
Your lasting act of faith could mean families like Ibrahim’s get emergency supplies when they’re going through the ordeals imaginable – keeping hope alive in the darkest moments.
