Honouring the life of someone special can be a powerful act of love.
By leaving a gift in your Will to Christian Aid in memory of a loved one, you can continue their values and compassion—bringing hope to communities around the world for generations to come.
Whether your loved one supported Christian Aid during their lifetime or you simply wish to celebrate their spirit, your legacy gift will help build a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.
Every gift, no matter the size, is a beacon of hope.

Ways to leave a gift in your Will in memory
You can choose to leave:
- A specific gift such as items, property or shares.
- A pecuniary gift, which is a financial donation of a fixed amount.
- A residuary gift -- favoured by most of our supporters -- which is all or part of what’s left of your estate once your other wishes have been carried out.
We recommend speaking with a solicitor to ensure your wishes are clearly expressed. You can also request your free Gifts in Wills guide to learn more.
