Gifts in memory

Giving in memory at your loved one’s funeral

Each gift in memory we receive is unique and speaks of the love for the person in whose memory it is given.

Thank you so much for considering making such a special gift to us.

We understand that planning a funeral is a very difficult time. Our thoughts are with you, and if you would prefer to talk to someone in person about making your gift, please contact Kathy by emailing or calling 0207 523 2159

How we can help

You can choose from our education, water or agriculture work. Or you may prefer us to simply use gifts for our work in general, to support any of our life-changing projects. Whichever area of our work you decide to support, we can provide:

  • a short paragraph for your order of service explaining how gifts will be used.
  • if you wish, a short prayer that marks your loved one’s care for others.

How to give your gift

Where possible please give your gift via our in memory online page, or call our supporter care team on 020 7523 2493 to donate by telephone.

Your funeral director will often be able to help you collate gifts, and may be able to advise you of ways to give online rather than via cash and cheque. Where you would like to send in cheques please send to: Christian Aid, 35-41 Lower Marsh, London SE1 7RL.

You also have the option of setting up a tribute page in memory of your loved one using our in memory giving site A Light in this World

We are here to help. If you’d like to talk to us, please contact Kathy by emailing or calling 0207 523 2159
