A professionally written Will can give you security and peace of mind.
Every November, solicitors across the country take part in Will Aid month. They’ll draw up a Will for you, and only ask for a suggested voluntary donation to one of nine charities, including Christian Aid.
Over the years, Will Aid has raised an amazing £18m for the vital work of the nine Will Aid charities, changing lives in the UK and around the world.
With Will Aid, you’ll benefit from an up-to-date Will, the charities benefit from much-needed support, and your heirs benefit in the future. It’s win-win for everyone.
Will Aid - your questions answered
How do I find a Will Aid solicitor?
You can find a solicitor through Will Aid's website or call the Will Aid hotline on 0300 0300 013. Once you’ve found a solicitor, contact them directly and ask for a Will Aid appointment.
You can also call us on 020 7523 2173 and we’ll help to arrange a convenient appointment for you.
Will Aid appointments get booked up very quickly, so we advise you to start looking for a Will Aid solicitor in early September.
What donation should I make?
Your donation is voluntary, but we suggest:
- £100 for a basic single Will
- £180 for a pair of basic mirror Wills

This guide explains how gifts in Wills are an inspirational way to give thanks. It also offers some advice on how to include a gift to Christian Aid.
You should be able to amend your Will cheaply and simply with a legal document known as a codicil.
