What is festival volunteering?
As a festival volunteer you get all of the perks of attending a festival without breaking the bank.
You’ll need to bring your own camping equipment, but Christian Aid will help cover your expenses, including the full cost of the festival ticket, as well as food and shower vouchers. We have three types of festivals available to join depending on your location, skills and interests.
What do our festival volunteers do?
We’re looking for friendly, dependable volunteers who enjoy connecting with others and sharing Christian Aid’s message. You might help on a stall, hand out resources or encourage people to take action.
Whether you’re new to volunteering or have years of experience, this is a great way to meet others, grow in confidence and have a meaningful summer.

Greenbelt Festival
Greenbelt is an arts, faith and justice festival held in Kettering every August bank holiday weekend.
Christian Aid has partnered with Greenbelt for over 30 years. Greenbelt is all about encouraging festival goers to 'dance and debate, to pray and to party (ideally all of those things at the same time).’
Why not spend your bank holiday putting your faith to action while enjoying a lively and interactive festival environment?
Big Church Festival
We’re excited to be part of Big Church Festival this year — one of the UK’s largest Christian gatherings.
It’s a celebration of faith, music and community. A modern-day pilgrimage where thousands of people come together to worship, connect and have fun.
Over the August bank holiday weekend, we’ll be there with family-friendly activities, merch, games and a chance to learn more about our work. It’s a joyful space to raise our voice for justice and grow our movement.

The National Eisteddfod is the largest cultural festival in Europe, held in a different part of Wales every year. For more information about the festival, visit the National Eisteddfod website.

We're always looking for new, exciting events to get involved with. Please reach out to our events team to discuss having a Christian Aid stall at your festival.
