Helen Roach

Helen is our Central Supporter Engagement Officer for Wales, based in the national office in Cardiff.

Helen studied theology at university and comes to Christian Aid with a background in working for a range of charities in Wales focussed on tackling poverty and inequality.  Most recently, she led member relations for Tai Pawb, a charity which addresses equality and diversity in the Welsh housing sector, including the housing needs of refugees. Helen was born and bred in Cardiff and has learned Welsh as a second language.

Eleri Haf Alter

Eleri is our Central Supporter Engagement Coordinator for Wales, based in the national office in Cardiff.

Eleri was raised in Neath and studied Welsh in Bangor University. Following her degree, she completed a year’s internship with the Baptist Union of Wales as part of the ‘Team for Wales’ project based in north Wales. She also spent a month of this year in India. She comes to Christian Aid having worked for two years within the financial sector. In her spare time, she is studying for a master’s degree in the social sciences.
