This year Christian Aid and Greenbelt Festival bring you No Fly Zone.

A brand new festival venue with the opportunity to connect with perspectives from around the world – no flights included.

With a packed programme of speakers, films and more, No Fly Zone is the place to visit to listen, learn and take action on global justice. Through the wonder of the strongest broadband connection you’ll find in a field, we’ll be bringing you activists, theologians and creatives to explore poverty, justice and faith.

As well all of that, you can start every day in prayer as we team up with the Iona Community - an ecumenical Christian movement working for justice and peace for daily prayers and reflection.

What to expect

Programme highlights include:

  • Father Richard Rohr, an American Franciscan friar and ecumenical teacher, who will be speaking about spirituality and Christian mysticism
  • A showing of The Tinderbox - a documentary from Gillian Moseley examining both sides of the conflict in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory
  • Vanessa Nakate, well known Ugandan climate activist.
  • Each evening wraps up with Fr Azariah France-Williams discussing highlights of the day with some of the poets, singers, comedians and other contributors at Greenbelt.

Join us!

It wouldn’t be Greenbelt without us getting you involved in taking action for justice so look out for our team of staff and volunteers who will be inviting you to act on poverty!

So, come and find us in at No Fly Zone at Greenbelt Festival , the only airport lounge you won’t want to take a flight from!

Change is made by those who show up

With the UK election just around the corner, we invite you to follow in Jesus' footsteps: to sit down and break bread with decision makers and urge them to act on poverty.
