At St John’s Waterloo, we’ve planned an inspiring programme to kick off Christian Aid Week 2026.

Join us for an inspiring event featuring:

  • Stories from our partner Beacon of Hope, working to transform lives in Kenya
  • A sneak peek at new fundraising resources to help you prepare for Christian Aid Week
  • Connect with fellow supporters and get inspired for Christian Aid Week
  • Afternoon bonus sessions for those attending St John’s Waterloo

Programme details

  • Join us from 10:00am–1:00pm for an engaging morning of speakers and stories that will spark ideas and action
  • Following the morning conference, lunch will be provided at 1:00pm before we continue with the afternoon sessions
  • An afternoon of interactive seminars and practical workshops will take place from 2:00pm–4:00pm designed to equip you with creative fundraising strategies and connect you with fellow changemakers

Seminars and workshops

  • Q&A and a deep dive with our visitor from Kenya, Beacon of Hope. Ask questions and learn more about their work, from urban farming to tackling the impact of climate change
  • Group discussions led by the Christian Aid Week team. Share ideas, swap tips, and explore creative ways to raise funds in your community
  • Discover how your voice can help drive real change! Hear from our campaigns team about the powerful impact advocacy can have in challenging injustice and standing with those living in an unfair world
  • Garden Tour at St John’s – meet volunteers and see how planting connects to climate action and sustainability
