What is Big Church Festival?
Big Church Festival is the UK's biggest Christian music and worship festival. Every bank holiday weekend, tens of thousands of people gather in West Sussex for live music, inspiring talks, community and celebration.
It brings together Christians from across the country – and beyond – for a weekend rooted in faith, joy and hope. It's exactly the kind of space where Christian Aid belongs.

Our first year at Big Church Festival
In 2025, we made our debut at Big Church Festival – and what a weekend it was. Here's what we got up to:
- We ran all five water points across the site – keeping people hydrated and striking up conversations about our work with communities around the world.
- We temporarily tattooed festivalgoers with a rainbow of hope. Long queues, lots of smiles! They proved a huge hit.
- We went live on stage for UCB Radio, sharing the story of Christian Aid's work with thousands of listeners.
- We met people who'd travelled from as far away as South Korea, and heard from volunteers already asking how to sign up for next year.
