Join us for Prayers for Peace in the Middle East. Each month we take time to hear from partners and friends of Christian Aid and pray for a just peace in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory.

The next Prayers for Peace in the Middle East will be on Monday 24 March.

We will welcome Peter Nasir from Christian Aid the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association) in East Jerusalem and Leila El Ali from Christian Aid partner Association Najdah in Lebanon as part of their visit to UK. You will hear up to date accounts of their day to day work and the current situation. 

 

Coming up

At our April Prayers for Peace we will welcome Selina Abdallah from YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association) in Palestine.

 

With a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas welcomed, sustainable peace is not possible until the illegal occupation of Gaza, and the West Bank – including East Jerusalem – is ended and Palestinians and Israelis are treated as equals. World leaders need to immediately support a locally led reconstruction plan for Gaza to provide hope for the future. Read more.
