Join the congregation at Newlands South Church, Glasgow, to celebrate the work of Church of Scotland, Christian Aid and the Scottish Government in Zambia. Speakers - Rev Sally Foster-Fulton, Head of Christian Aid Scotland Keryn Banks, Programme Funding Officer, Christian Aid Keryn has recently returned from a trip to a project in Zambia which is supporting farmers to grow a variety of crops and get them to market. The Church of Scotland has had Missionary Projects in Zambia, Africa since 1946 and played a major role in forming the United Church of Zambia in 1965. Newlands South Church of Scotland is keeping that mission spirit alive by working with Christian Aid to support 4,000 small-scale Zambian farmers. Newlands South Church of Scotland has committed to raise £1,000 by December 2020 to assist with this project.
