Torn from community networks and their livelihoods, people who have been forced from home are among the most vulnerable to poverty and exploitation in the world.
Christian Aid’s Uprooted exhibition raises awareness of the 40 million internally displaced people around the world who are lacking international recognition and support.
Our exhibition brings to life the personal stories of people displaced in Nigeria, Kenya and Iraq. Christian Aid partners are working in communities affected by conflict and climate related displacement providing emergency assistance and the chance to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.
Through photographs and ID cards you will learn more about people’s lives in the midst of displacement and uncertainty. The exhibition also provides an opportunity to join our campaign to get a fair deal for all people on the move and improve provision for those displaced and ignored around the world.
Come along to understand the very real challenges facing our global neighbours, and be inspired and encouraged by the work of Christian Aid and our partners around the world.
