In 2018, over 800 people from 100 churches took part in events organised by Christian Aid Scotland. You have raised an incredible £60,000 from the Bridge Crosses, Edinburgh Marathon and Kelpies Canter! Supporters have also organised Harvest suppers, coffee mornings and book sales, run marathons, and cycled far and wide to raise money and awareness for our global neighbours. Thank you for standing together with our global neighbours for dignity, equality and justice. “I enjoy helping organise the walk as it brings so many people from various churches together for the day to celebrate the work CA do and raise funds for projects around the globe. So many walkers have been coming for years but still manage to raise a huge amount even when they might not be able to run or walk as fast as they did 20 years ago.” Kathleen Leitch Another wonderful Christian Aid supporter Lorna recounts her good memories with Christian Aid: "I’ve been involved with Erskine Bridge Cross for around 30 years and each year brings a different thrill or surprise. This year’s was being hailed by the lady who bought our first flat 40 years ago! It’s a lovely way to raise awareness of Christian Aid, raise money, meet old friends and make new ones and all in such a wonderful setting. Its given me many happy memories."
