England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge, which you can take on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run for charity!
Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start. A variety of distances are available including, 100, 75, 50 and 25 km. If you take on the 100km route, this heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line.

How to register on the Ultra Challenge website
- Choose your distance.
- Choose from the fundraising, part payment or self-funded options.
- Complete the registration form, making sure to select Christian Aid as your chosen charity from the dropdown list (you’ll find us under ‘Overseas Aid’, or you can use the search function).
- That’s it! Ultra Challenge will let us know that you’ve registered, and we’ll be in touch to welcome you to the team.

Post event
- Full support from the Ultra Challenge team, including well-equipped rest stops, medical teams on standby, and plenty of food and drink along the way.

- Finishers’ medal and celebration.
