A Christmas celebration rooted in hope
This Christmas, as we sing familiar carols like Away in a Manger, we remember those for whom “no crib for a bed” is a lived reality. Join Christian Aid for Peace on Earth, a carol service that blends the joy of the season with a powerful call for peace and justice.
Held in the heart of Birmingham at the historic church of St Martin in the Bull Ring, this uplifting evening brings together music, reflection, and global stories of courage and hope.
Music that inspires
Enjoy soul-stirring performances from the Birmingham Community Gospel Choir, Peace Avenue & Praise Project, alongside congregational carols.
Stories that matter
We’ll hear from Christian Aid’s partners working in places like the Democratic Republic of Congo, where families are rebuilding their lives in the face of unimaginable hardship. Their stories remind us of the urgent need for peace and the hope that Christmas brings.
A shared commitment
Come together to celebrate the joy of the season while standing in solidarity with communities affected by conflict and displacement. We’ll express our hopes for a better world and reaffirm our commitment to building it.
Free entry - all are welcome
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or simply seeking a meaningful way to mark the season, we invite you to be part of this special evening.
