Jubilee Scotland - Rethinking private financing

Event details

address:

Jubilee Scotland, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1EL, United Kingdom

date:

You have been invited to the event “Rethinking Private Financing of Scottish Public Projects”, sponsored by Neil Findlay, MSP.   At this event, Jubilee Scotland will present findings from their report on private financing of public projects in Scotland. We will also hear from guest speakers about the effects of schemes such as PFIs, NPDs and HUB. The event will encourage rethinking of how Scotland funds its public projects. It is time for Scotland to stop the short-term thinking and finance its public projects in ways which serves the people, rather than private companies.   You can also show your support for the issue by attending a lunch time photocall in meeting room TG26 (Digital meeting Room), 1-2.30pm on Wednesday the 29th of January.   Please let us know if you are planning to attend the evening event, by contacting Jubilee Scotland’s Campaign Director Line Kikkenborg Christensen at campaigndirector@jubileescotland.org.uk  Prior to attending the event please contact the event organiser if you have any specific access requirements or if you require personal assistance in the event of an evacuation.
