Event details

The indigenous people of the Amazon have been passing their farms and homes down through families for generations. Christian Aid believes in helping the indigenous people protect their inherited right to Earth, on which they live and work, from big business and globalisation. But we need your help to make this happen! Help support the forest for future generations Donating gifts in Wills to causes like this is a big decision, but makes a huge impact on the communities who need it the most. The Amazon rainforest is a treasure that benefits us all. We need to preserve it so our children can inherit an Earth that still has the green lungs it needs to breathe and survive. Join us at the exhibition this summer  Inherit the Earth is an exhibition of photos showing how the lives of indigenous communities in the Bolivian rainforest are being transformed through work supported by legacies and in memory donations. Please come along and enjoy the exhibition. The exhibition will be open on Saturday 22 June between 2-5pm as part of Albaston Village Fete, on Sunday 23 between 10.30am-12pm and on Monday 24 between 10am-12pm and 2-4pm. If you’d like to talk to us about supporting our work with a gift in your Will, contact Kerry or Jess by emailing legacyteam@christian-aid.org or call 020 7523 2173.
