The Great Crosby Cake Off
Moor Lane Methodist Church
Join us on Saturday 18 May, 10am-1pm, at Moor Lane Methodist Church for the 'Great Crosby Cake Off and more to raise funds for Christian Aid.
Get your baking tins out and put your aprons on! Let your imagination run wild as you bake a showstopper cake – the more spectacular the better.
The cake-making competition will start at 10am and will also feature a competition for a classic Victoria sponge.
Bakes will be judged by award-winning local celebrity cake-maker Caroline, of Caz's Kitchen in St John's Road, Waterloo.
Children won't be left out as those aged 12 and under can enter decorated cup cakes or make an animal-themed cake as crazy as they like.
There will also be lots of stalls and activities going on, including bacon butties, and, of course, a cake stall. So if you don't want to bake, you can just eat cake!
We are hoping for lots of entries and look forward to it being a fun community event, which will raise money for Christian Aid. So put the date in your diary now, remember Saturday 18 May and come and support the Great Crosby Cake-Off.
