Circle the City 2020 - London
St Mary-le-Bow Church
A great day out…
Join us for this fantastic sponsored walk in the heart of the City of London. This family-friendly fundraising event is an opportunity to visit the 15 of the City of London’s hidden historic sites. There will be activities, challenges, treasure hunts, musical performances, guided tours and more adventures along the way!
Around the City ...
The walk explores historical places of worship around the City of London, starting and finishing at St Mary-Le-Bow Church (Cheapside, EC2V 6AU). Registration begins at 12pm. There are two distance options - 3 miles and 6 miles. There will be a pre-walk service at 1pm at St Mary-le-Bow.
Making a Difference ...
The money you raise through Circle the City sponsorship will go to our projects around the world to aid people in poverty. People like Mamo, a 21-year-old pastoralist in Northern Kenya. For the past 5 years Kenya has been experiencing a national drought emergency. Animals are dying in record numbers while the livestock market is collapsing. Our partner, PACIDA, is working with local peace committees and leaders to distribute food and decrease conflict over resources. Your efforts at events like CTC are vital to fighting poverty and hunger around the world.
When you register for this event we will send you a sponsorship pack with all the information you need to get started.
Individuals - You can register as an individual and take on the challenge of raising £100 or more. If you are unable to raise sponsorship we encourage a minimum donation of £25 on the day.
Register a group - Grab some friends and family, make it fun and competitive! If you are part of a group at work, church, or school, see if you can raise over £100 each.
