Christian Aid's Liverpool Conference - the almighty power of people!

We are the changemakers, the peacemakers, the mighty of heart. We believe in the almighty power of people!

Unfortunately this has been POSTPONED due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. The health and safety of our community of supporters, staff and volunteers is of the utmost importance to us.

We will honour tickets and the booking with the Quakers for a later date at some point in the future where the situation is more certain.  We have communicated this to ticket holders.

At a time when our climate is changing and vulnerable countries are increasingly suffering the effects of the climate crisis, we all need to take up the prophetic call and become those who will protect the earth and it's people.

So for a day in March we will be gathering together to learn how to build this movement and embed a heart for social justice in our communities.

On the day we will discover how best to support this work through:

  • presentations from Christian Aid supporters and grass roots activists
  • workshops
  • campaigning
  • talks from our global partners

A volunteer who attended our conference in Coventry last year said, 'what’s been great is having the opportunity to meet so many people, to hear first hand experiences of people who are working with some of the worlds most impoverished people.' And now we're bringing that opportunity to you!

Please book your ticket now to join us on this special day and discover the almighty power of people!

10am-4pm at Liverpool Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BT

There is very limited parking on site so please, if you are able, travel by public transport, the venue is very close to multiple train and bus connections!
