Campaigning and lobbying: Build a movement with Christian Aid

Event details

Taunton United Reformed Church, 18 Paul Street , Taunton, TA1 3PF, United Kingdom

Are you passionate about climate change and other political issues? Do you want to work with your local MP and community and get your voice heard, but aren’t sure how? Come and join Christian Aid for an afternoon of learning about why campaigning and lobbying are great ways to transform the systems and structures that keep people poor. You'll find out what you can do about it practically in your local area, community, church and with your local MP. This is a fantastic opportunity led by Christian Aid South West and Christian Aid’s Campaigns Team. You'll gain knowledge on how to make an impact and help shape decisions, connect with other campaigners, and receive lots of encouragement to keep going and let your voice be heard. Standing together we are stronger. If not us, then who? Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served. There are limited places on this training workshop so book now to avoid disappointment. Please note, there is no parking at the church but lots nearby. To book, please contact Christian Aid Bristol on 01454 415 923 or For enquiries relating to this event please contact Callum Humphries, Christian Aid Regional Coordinator for Bristol and Somerset, on 07814 137 000 or
