Christian Aid Week 2015: Love every neighbour

Every year, Christian Aid Week unites more than 20,000 churches across Britain and Ireland. In 2015, supporters went house-to-house, delivering 7 million envelopes and collecting donations; held special Christian Aid Week services; and organised a host of fundraisers, from abseils to cake sales.

Over this wonderful seven days in May, our amazing supporters proved that we love every neighbour. As always, hard work and dedication led to results – raising more than £11m to change lives across the world.

Here is a small thank you...

Owning a cow gives people the chance to build their livelihoods, and the status conferred by owning a cow enables women to take part in community decision making.

The money raised through Christian Aid Week contributes to all our work (not just in Ethiopia, but across the world), helping us to join with our partners to continue important work such as challenging gender inequality, building resilience and community health, or working to make markets work better for poor people.
