Photos: Philippines - farmers go back to climate school

With support from our local partner, Rice Watch Action Network (RWAN), farmers in the Philippines are learning about climate change, organic farming, and the benefits of regular seasonal and localised 10-day weather forecasts.

Farmers attend a 16-week field school, applying what they learn on a working ‘demonstration’ farm.

Thanks to the project, they've seen a reduction in costs, improved harvests and increased incomes.

Ultimately, by adapting the way they work, vulnerable famers are becoming more resilient in the face of climate change.
