Christian Aid in India

Donor-funded

Christian Aid has raised resources for its work in India from various institutional donors such as the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the European Commission, ECHO, the Scottish Government and other trusts and foundations.

Building on these experiences, Christian Aid is part of the IFIRST (Indian Forum for Inclusive Response and Social Transformation) consortium, which manages one of DFID’s largest civil society programmes: the Poorest Areas Civil Society programme (PACS) which aims to lift people out of poverty across seven states in India.
