Chus was the teenage star of Christian Aid Week 2007. Photographer Eduardo Martino visited his family in El Salvador last year, to capture the images that adorned our fundraising materials. But when communications officer Siân Curry returned there this summer, she found a family in mourning. Chus’ guardian William had just been shot dead.
