The human face of climate change

A new Christian Aid report documents the devastating impact of climate change on communities already struggling with extreme poverty - using first-person testimonies of those affected.

The Human Face of Climate Change highlights the growing desperation of people facing erratic rains, flooding, more frequent storms, new plagues of animal pests and intense heat that shrivels crops.

The report illustrates ways in which different communities are struggling to cope with the change in their fortunes.

And it exposes the duplicity of rich countries which have broken their promise to provide massive funding to help the developing world cope with climate change.
