Take a tour of the Green Garden and be inspired by what you see!
Arranged under the branches of a giant tree sculpture, the garden has four sections to appeal to gardeners of all abilities: from fledgling novice to green-fingered expert; from those with a solo window-box to those with a 12-acre estate.
The tree
At the heart of the Green garden there's a giant baobab tree. Find out why trees are heroes in the face of climate change.
Clean and green
In the energy and resources section of the garden, we display a water sculpture and several planters made from recycled copper boilers - all inspired by projects we support in Kenya, Mali and Malawi.
We also show how reclaimed scrap can be transformed into beautiful water sculptures which use solar powered pumps.
Veg and beds
This section of the garden encourages visitors to reduce their own carbon footprint by growing their own fruit and veg or through supporting local farmers. The smallest of homes can have a go - you can try using a window box or creating an African-inspired multi-storey garden.
The secret garden
No green garden would be complete without a wildlife garden. Our Green garden has top tips on what to plant to encourage insects and wildlife back into your backyard. Building a living wall could be a perfect solution if you are short of space.
The story garden
Picture yourself sheltering under a magnificent baobab tree in Senegal, listening to stories that have shaped communities across the world. We hope the stories about Christian Aid’s work overseas and from the Eden Project will inspire you to tell others about the impact of climate change.
