The scandal of a world that could feed and give opportunity to all its people yet chooses not to do so drives Christian Aid and our supporters.
Together we work and campaign for the justice that brings food in time of crisis, clean water to the heart of a village, that brings transformative education to a young girl’s life or training in the business skills that help a subsistence farmer to a sustainable living.
Impelled by compassion and hungering for justice, people regularly pray, act and give in support of our work. Many want to do more than their resources will allow during their lifetime.
Every year hundreds of people like this choose to leave a gift in their will – and those gifts may be anything from a few hundred pounds to very many thousands. Even the smallest of these gifts will often be the largest gift that supporter will ever have been able to make. Each legacy is valued and a precious contribution to our work with poor communities.
While Christian Aid will only receive and use the gift after their death, each supporter’s decision is very much one of life. Inspired by the words ‘we believe in life before death,’ people who leave a gift in their will want their legacy to build a more just world.
Please consider your legacy and after remembering family and friends, support our work with a gift in your will.
Why? I just feel deep down that it's the right thing for me to do
I have been given much during my life. With this gift for the less privileged in this world I hope to contribute to more equality on this planet
There are millions of people who will never live to be half my age, who have never known what it is not to be hungry. My death does not mean the need to help is any less
I believe passionately in justice for all human beings and CA helps to bring about justice all over the world
I am about to change my will to leave money to Christian Aid. How else can I leave the world a better place?
