If you pay income tax in the Republic of Ireland, and donate more than €250 in a tax year, Christian Aid could claim tax relief on your donation and boost the value of your gift without it costing you a cent.
If you are a tax payer the tax refund for donations will be set at a blended rate of 31% regardless of the rate of tax which you pay.
These extra funds, at no cost to you, can make a very significant difference to the funds we raise. For example donations of €250 over the period of a year is worth an extra €112.32 to Christian Aid.

Following changes to the tax relief on donations to charities, effective from 1 January 2013, new forms are now available. You can now sign an enduring certificate (CHY3) which is valid for five years and can be renewed both by text and online.
