Employee fundraising
It could be as ambitious as abseiling down the side of your workplace, or as simple as baking some buns – in 2006 one of our supporters raised £150 for Christian Aid just by selling cakes and biscuits to her colleagues.
Get the boss involved, too. You might even ask your company whether they would be prepared to match the amount you raise.

Recycling
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. At Christian Aid, we can turn your old mobile phone or printer cartridges into hard cash.
Through our scheme with environmental innovators Greener Solutions, we get £3 for every phone donated – enough to pay the school fees for a child in India for two months.
