Christian Aid in Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Christian Aid office is the first point of contact for churches and individuals across east, north, south and west Yorkshire, who want to respond to the scandal of poverty and global injustice.

We work with you to raise money, campaign and pray for change. Thank you for being part of the movement to end poverty.

How we can help

We're always delighted to support you as you fundraise, campaign or pray to help some of the world's poorest communities.

We have a team of speakers who are trained and ready to come to your church or meeting to talk about the inspiring work our partners are doing. We also have volunteer teachers who can come to your school to lead assemblies or sessions. We can:

  • provide speakers for your church, youth group or school

  • run workshops

  • provide resources for your fundraiser or event

  • promote your event or story on our website

  • offer advice and support.

Christian Aid Week

Last year our wonderful supporters in Yorkshire raised £660,500 during Christian Aid Week alone!

As well as house-to-house collections, people rattle buckets at supermarkets and train stations, collect at their church, take part in sponsored walks, organise coffee mornings and quizzes, busk and sing, sell plants and cakes, hold snooker marathons, and lots more!

Contact us

Please get in touch if you have any questions, need any resources or simply to tell us what you are doing – we're always on the lookout for great events and stories to promote on our website.
