Volunteer speaker

Christian Aid speakers share stories about the work of our partner organisations with churches and other groups, and inspire people to give, take action and pray for our work.

We would like to expand our team across East of England and are looking for volunteers who have access to a network of local churches and can be available to give talks throughout the year.

You will need to have experience of public speaking, confidence within a church setting and be committed to the work of Christian Aid.

You will receive resources, training and the support of staff and other volunteers. Out of pocket expenses are paid.

Volunteer teacher

Christian Aid volunteer teachers share stories about the work of our partner organisations with schools and other groups, engaging children in issues of global poverty and inspiring them to take action for our work.

We would like to expand our team across the East of England and are looking for volunteers who can be available to lead assemblies, workshops or lessons on a regular basis.

You will need to have experience working creatively with teachers and young people (primary and/or secondary), be committed to the work of Christian Aid, and preferably have confidence speaking about the motivation of a  faith-based charity.

You will receive resources, training and the support of staff and other volunteers. Out of pocket expenses are paid.
