October Supporter Conference

Thank You Event 2013 Rowan Williams preaching

Places are still available at our volunteer and supporter conference, 'We Can Move Mountains', this October in Sheffield. Guest speakers will include Dr Rowan Williams and Christian Aid partner Voltaire Alferez.

Christian Aid has a vision – an end to poverty – and we believe that vision can become a reality. To some that may seem like an impossible dream, but we know that if we work together we can move mountains.

We Can Move Mountains

This exciting new conference is now open to all Christian Aid volunteers and supporters to equip and resource them to inspire others to take action. Taking place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October, it will be an opportunity to worship, meet and share ideas with others, and hear from experts and inspirational speakers.

Our keynote speakers will be:
• Dr Rowan Williams, Chair of Christian Aid’s Board of Trustees and former Archbishop of Canterbury
• Voltaire Alferez, National Coordinator of Christian Aid partner Aksyon Klima Pilipinas, an umbrella group for climate change campaigning.
