Christians want to end poverty and injustice around the world. Getting your church involved is a great way to help Christian Aid achieve this.
Have a sale
Hold a tried and tested favourite. You could hold a cake sale or a bring-and-buy sale one afternoon and get everyone in the local community invovled.
Put on a show
If you feel adventurous, you could hold a fashion show or an art auction - the church can provide a great venue for this.
Hold a recital
Hold a book reading or lecture on an interesting topic that will bring people along.
Organise a concert
Why not organise a concert one evening in your church with local musicians, bands or a choir? You can charge people entry, have a raffle during the interval and give out refreshments for a suggested donation.
Have a raffle
Maybe sell some raffle tickets during the interval or break of your fundraiser then hold the raffle at the end? Everyone loves winning a prize!
Speak out, take action
Raising money is vital, but why stop there? At Christian Aid we believe that, to tackle poverty, we have to change the way the world works.
Together you can add your voices to thousands of others and demand serious action from the people in power on issues like climate change and tax dodging. Find out more about our campaigns here.
