Join Christian Aid for a charity walk in England and help us fight poverty step by step.
Our sponsored walks have raised more than £153,000 in a year for our work. Hundreds of people walked thousands of miles between them to fight poverty. Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to raising this fantastic total which will make a significant impact to communities living in poverty.

Bede’s Way Walk
Bede’s Way Walk follows the footsteps of seventh century pilgrims, between St Paul’s in Jarrow and St Peter’s in Wearmouth.
There are plenty of opportunities to talk, and take in the beautiful views on the way.
Date: Saturday 20 June 2015
The route: It's approximately 12 miles and walkers are well looked-after on their way, in groups each with a guide. As this is a day out for all ages, we also offer a shorter route for those unable to walk 12 miles.
