On Friday, 26 March be part of the Super Soup lunch and help bowl over poverty.
Whatever you are having for lunch that day make sure it’s soup. Because if it is, you can help Christian Aid fight global poverty and injustice.
That’s right – you can help change the world, just by lighting a stove, pinging a microwave or even boiling a kettle!
It's a day when people all across Britain will be putting their sandwiches aside and getting together to cook a cock-a-leekie, sip Scotch broth, or guzzle gazpacho – in aid of Christian Aid’s Super Soup Lunch.
Wherever you are - at home, work, school or in your local community – it’s so easy. Invite your family, friends or colleagues to join you in a soup-themed lunch and collect a donation from each of them.
Why not take a lunch break and catch up with colleagues over a bowl of soup at work? Or invite friends over to share soup and gossip?
You could even organise an all-day soup lunch at your local community or church hall and invite everyone in your neighbourhood to come along.
Teachers and pupils could sip soup over lunch in the staff room or canteen.
Holding a Super Soup Lunch may seem like a small action to take in the face of worldwide hunger, but it will make a real difference.
A little extra…
