Christian Aid Week is seven amazing days of fundraising, campaigning and worship. It unites 300,000 people in the UK's biggest house-to-house collection.
It inspires hundreds of events, brings together thousands of churches and reaches millions of people with messages about poverty.
And most importantly, it helps people in poor communities around the world change their lives.
About our resources
Our Christian Aid Week 2008 materials feature inspiring stories of poor communities in Ghana and Bangladesh who have been empowered by Christian Aid to change their futures.
Christian Aid Sunday falls on Pentecost this year, and our worship resources have been designed with this theme in mind, and also reflect a range of Christian traditions and styles of worship.

Worship resources
We have a range of free resources for churches wishing to mark Christian Aid Week in their worship. They feature inspiring stories from Ghana and Bangladesh. And with Pentecost falling on the first day of Christian Aid Week, there is a focus on the Holy Spirit. They also represent a range of different Christian traditions and worship styles.
The act of worship can be used in full – or separate elements can be taken out and used within your usual service.
The written elements and a full order of service can be downloaded here – and they are also available on the Empowering People DVD-rom, along with videos, songs and supporting resources they refer to.
