Welcome to Christian Aids eco-house, produced in partnership with Diarmuid Gavin.
We hope that what you see on this website will inspire you to make a difference.
By taking simple steps to lower our carbon emissions and adopting more sustainable lifestyles, we can all dramatically reduce our contribution to climate change.
Climate change
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges we face in our lifetime. While we are beginning to feel a few of the effects here, some of the worlds poorest people are already on the frontline.
The eco-house
But Christian Aid offers hope by helping communities all over the world to adapt their lifestyles in the face of climate change.
Eco-house demonstrate how our partners are helping people to prepare for and reduce the risk of future disaster, as well as teaching them how to embrace low-cost sustainable living.
Eco-tips
We too have a part to play. Our lifestyles driving a car, watching TV, heating our homes have caused a huge increase in the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere.
These carbon emissions contribute to the greenhouse effect, causing temperatures to rise often with devastating consequences.
