European Commission: EuropeAid and ECHO

EC flag Christian Aid receives funds from the European Commission through two mechanisms: EuropeAid, for longer term development projects, and the European Commission Humanitarian Office (ECHO), for humanitarian relief and civil protection projects.

We currently receive £15.6 million for 19 projects in 14 countries in the areas of human rights, tax justice, humanitarian assistance, conflict, resilience to disasters, employment and labour rights, disability, community empowerment, good governance, food security, and maternal and child health.
