UK Aid Match

In 2012, Christian Aid successfully secured match-funding from the UK Government that meant the first £5 million donated to Christian Aid Week was matched £1 for £1.

Here are some examples of how we are spending these funds over three years to support poor communities in Sierra Leone, South Sudan, South Africa, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Burkina Faso and Myanmar.

This work aims to improve access to healthcare and build thriving and resilient livelihoods.
