Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC), Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha

This project provides rights awareness training and leadership development to educate local people about the obligations of the government and their ability to claim their rights. As a result of the current lack of interaction between Local Government officials and communities, JDPC helps to organise dialogue meetings.

JDPC are working with local town associations to ensure they are more representative of marginal groups and encourages town hall meetings to increase communication between marginalised populations and decision-makers.
