Churches Rededication

Church leaders rededicate their support to Christian Aid

Brecon Cathedral was full for our 70th Anniversary Service on Saturday 26 September 2015.

Among the highlights was Dr Rowan Williams’s challenging sermon, which reminded us of our common humanity, as Europe once again witnesses the pitiful sight of refugees on its soil.

Another notable moment in the service was the leaders of the Christian denominations in Wales re-dedicating their congregations to the work of fighting poverty and injustice in our world, in partnership with Christian Aid.

Here are some photographs to remind us of our unity as the Church of Christ as we face the world’s many challenges. Beneath each photo are the specific words spoken on behalf of each denomination.
